stayed at rodeway inn and really appreciated the comfy bed. the ocean front location is great, offering beautiful views. easy access to nearby attractions made our stay enjoyable. the staff was friendly and helpful, which is always a plus.

Not the Best Experience, But a Place to Rest

While my stay was far from ideal, I appreciated the convenience of nearby restaurants. I recommend checking out the beachside food options. For future guests, consider arriving early to enjoy the nearby attractions before checking in.

The room was a mess. The sheets had this dingy look, and the carpet was gross. Found dirty grout in the bathroom and mold in some spots. Definitely not what I expected, especially after all the hype. The kitchen setup? More like a joke. Only a few mismatched utensils and a tiny TV. Plus, the sticky carpet made it feel pretty uninviting. Very disappointed with the cleanliness.

It was just an ideal choice for a trip in Myrtle Beach with real value for money. The waffles you make yourself in the lobby were pretty good. Bring your own cleaning supplies if you want to feel comfortable.

A surprisingly warm pool experience

The room was clean, and we enjoyed our balcony overlooking the pool. The warm water in the pool was a delightful surprise after a long day.

However, we had to deal with noisy neighbors who kept us up all night. It was frustrating not having staff available to address the disturbances.

Upon arrival, I found leftover food in the fridge and dirty sheets, which made me question cleanliness and hygiene standards. The balcony door wouldn't close, and a plunger sitting next to the toilet indicated maintenance issues. Despite my brief stay, it was clearly not a safe environment, and attempts to address concerns with management resulted in more frustration rather than solutions.

The check-in process here was quick, which I appreciated after a long drive. The staff was friendly during my brief interaction, and I noticed that the towels provided were actually nice, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is decent, close to the beach, which makes it convenient for easy access to the water. However, the room left a lot to be desired. It had a strong odor that I couldn’t quite place, making it hard to relax. I found dirt in various corners, and the floors felt sticky. Some of the electrical outlets in the room didn’t work, which was frustrating. The condition of the furniture seemed outdated, and the refrigerator had visible dents, clearly showing its age. While the view from my room was lovely, it didn’t make up for the cleanliness and maintenance issues. The hot tub was not usable because it had debris in it, and the pool area looked unkempt. I had issues with the hot water faucet leaking continuously, and when I reported it, no one appeared to address the problem. I recommend taking a look at other options along the strip before settling on this one.
